Project Description

The project final design consisted of 5.29 miles of double-track Light Rail Transit (LRT) line and stations between the University of Washington interim terminal station and the Northgate Station, with approximately 20 cross-passages. The project included 16,340 feet of bored tunnels, two cut-and-cover stations, 1100 feet of retained cuts, a potential 600-foot cut-and-cover tunnel, 1100 feet of retained fill, 2200 feet of aerial guideway, and one elevated station at Northgate.
